Reflection on illustrator and creating files for print

In the first video, I've learned how to start on illustrator, and the guy explained to me what are the cool features and what illustrator does. The cool features are how to design newsletter, advertisement, and basic design to create an illustration. He introduced the illustrator by stating that it's pretty cool and it does a lot of graphic features. The most important art work is the art work is always editable, and it's scaleable. The editable means to add an additional tool to make it prettier. The scaleable is when the art work is zoomed it had no problem to view it; it original color. Also the illustrator could export and import variety of files that are in the computer. For example, i could open up pdf files, and others. The amateur designers can illustrate their works with illustrator.

In the second video, I've watched how to make illustrator display or print in my screen. How to make easier settings before creating my art work. How to think about what you are going to do before I start working with illustrator. The first task was to click on the Print Document. Print Document is where I set up my page and begin with illustrator. The size's are letter for regular art work, and he explained the Units that are Points, Inches, Picas and others measurements. So the illustrator calculates all of the inches. For example, if I number the width with inch while the unit is points. Then automatically, I will get points. I believe he thought me well because he explained how to print illustrator and follow the steps of the Print Document. In my opinion, I think that I will be able to do the illustrator correctly the way they did it.

Reflection about the Brochures

 My reflection to those who interviewed. I've chosen 5 students in my class that presented. The first student was Christian Kinch. He interviewed his brochure about Jacob Riis information and Jacob's program and what they do there. He had accurate information and organized information. He didn't had a lot of pictures but it was good. The second student was Andy Martinez, he represented JMC Custom Framing. He needed to improve on the font color and brightness because it was hard to see and if the customers sees it then they wont be happy. The third person was Kevin Cunningham, his client was his father. He had some kind of activities that his father works on. I believe it was mechanical tools and others. My other reflection is to Jennifer Toledo, she had a good background, and her fonts were small, but she had it organized fonts. She interviewed about Cuban restaurant, it was about food and enjoying your self in the restaurant. The fifth student as Konatunboon Mark, he absent the day that we interviewed. He had a good background, which was about Bed Bath & Beyond.

PhotoShop - InDesign Lab Reflection

Advance Colors;

Vanishing Point

Character Styles
          We did 4-5 labs requiring our methods of work. I used my skills also the student guides to help me to complete this lab. We used Indesign also the Photoshop for some of the image work that we did. The first one we did was layers, we followed the steps from student guides. The first lab was approximately 6-7 layers. My reflections are that I did better than before because I was able to proceed the labs that I've done. So if my teachers tells me that it's bad then I'll have to do it again. But I did better than before. There were some problems that I had during the lab. My teachers hepled me with some of these labs.
           Then I believe we did Vanishing Point which looks kind of draggy because once you look at it. You probably wont like it. But I really put some efforts on this lab too.

Portfolios - Reflection.

         The purpose of my portfolio is to get all the audiences attention and to attract the attention of the audience. For instances, I wanted my portfolio to appear in the audience's obsevation like the advance design and the visual of my portfolio. The project is targeted for my future in the beyond college and the particularly my principle and my teacher to view it. Futhermore, to assure, and consider, and agree or successful to get in my reference. I believe that to encourage to other people so they can observe it is my friends, my high school teachers to see how successful am I in my portfolio.
          I recommended my self to adobe acrobat to create my portfolio in the format of portable document format. The concepts of my project as a part is I converted my psd, innd, jpg and etc. Those files where converted to format of portable document format. I created a welcome page, a header, and it seemed like decent welcome page. Then I sequenced the Design work, and Image work as in the main page. Inside Design Work I created our folders that was projects from last term. Including my Collage, Logo, Business Card, and Advertisment. Those were my main part of the projects last term.
           I streamlined the file sizes by performing the image size and decreasing the size of the image or project. Then aconvert the format to portable document format. If I decreased the size of the image, then it will be more diminished; became less size than it usually used to be.
           I believe that my portfolio is less accurate but I did my best  to accomplish the project-Portfolio. I believe that only who could view it accurately is the audience. In my opinion, I believe I did great requiring with my Welcome page, the header, the narrative for each design work. I did not had much time to finish the whole portfolio; subsequently that's the conflict that I been having.
